Astra
Astra is a soft patterned sweater knitted in Kos, with European Shoulder construction and beautiful details at the hem. The sweater is worked from the top down with pattern according to the chart and finished with an i-cord edge and a decorative scalloped border.
The sweater is worked from the top down with pattern according to the chart. Stitches are first cast on for the back, which is worked back and forth with increases for the European Shoulder construction. Stitches are then picked up for each front, before the two fronts are joined to form one front piece. The front and back are joined, and the body is worked in the round to the desired length. The body is bound off with an i-cord edge before a scalloped border is worked. Stitches are then picked up around each armhole for the sleeves, which are worked in the round with pattern according to the chart. The neckband is worked last in ribbing. The model is 180 cm tall and wears a size 1.
